My mom isn’t on any social media, and has a hard time receiving photos and text messages on her cell phone. I found an iPhone app called Ink Cards that will print and mail a 5″ x 7″ laminated photo card to any location in the U.S. via First Class Mail. (The original postcards were created with the PhotoCard app, but they no longer mail cards.)
UPDATE 2021: I also like the MyPostcard app, which prints the XL cards 8¼” x 5¾” to more closely match the size of the original cards. Touchcard is another app I l like that lets you add a map location to the card and a custom photo stamp. You can also add text to the front of the card, and a caption below the photo if you choose a border. The cards are 6″ x 4″.
To create the photo collage I use the PicFrame app for iPhone because it has the option to change the ratio to 3:2 which works best for the photo cards.
(NOTE: The original PhotoCards are no longer available.)
