First post from iPhone

Next Tuesday I’ll be heading out on my first “real” RV trip out west to Seattle. As I’m winding down on preparing the RV for travel, I’m working on my website and blog to document the trip and start writing about purchasing my RV and the projects I’ve done on it.

Tonight at Walmart I decided to purchase a 2 gallon gas can to keep in the RV. On the way home from Iowa last time I was getting low on gas and it was almost midnight. I knew I wouldn’t make it to my destination without stopping, and I was really getting pretty nervous since it stopped estimating how much further I could go on my tank of gas. Fortunately, I found a station with about a gallon to spare. Ever since then I decided I’d feel better with a little extra gas on board.

I had a frame made to go around the bathroom mirror which arrived a couple days ago and looks wonderful. I took some photos today to post on Etsy, where I found the craftsman who made the frame, Bruce Battenfield from ChickenHouse Frames, when I leave a review. Here’s what it looks like: [click on images to enlarge]

The wood definitely adds warmth and character. Since this is my first post from my iPhone, I’m not sure how the photos will show up in the blog. That’s one of the reasons I am giving this a test before I hit the road. The photos are untouched also. [Note: the photos posted from my iPhone turned out huge! I came back on my laptop and put them into a gallery to resize them. I’ll have to look for a workaround for this issue. It’s always something. Haha!]
